چکیده
In hot and dry climates, evaporative cooling of the air by water spray can be applied in several requirements, such as condensers which airflow is precooled before it reaches condenser. The interaction between droplets a complicated two-phase flow that affected parameters. Here, an Eulerian-Lagrangian 3D model was developed to investigate influence important parameters on performance rectangular duct. evaluated include number nozzles, inlet rate, rate. results represented growth nozzles causes reduction efficiency. Thi s due decrease retention time within duct increasing at constant total rate cases. maximum minimum efficiency belong cases with one nozzle 20 l/h four 5 l/h, respectively. difference 3 4 less than 1.8%. Moreover, from 0.5 2 (by 300%) makes up 58.6%.

MHD Three-Dimensional Stagnation-Point Flow and Heat Transfer of a Nanofluid over a Stretching Sheet
In this study, the three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer of stagnation-point flow in a nanofluid was investigated. The Navier–Stokes equations were reduced to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations using a similarity transform. The similarity equations were solved for three types of nanoparticles: copper, alumina and titania with water as the base fluid, to inve...
متن کاملOn the Numerical Solutions of Three-dimensional Mhd Stagnation-point Flow of a Newtonian Fluid
In this paper the steady three-dimensional stagnation-point flow of an incompressible, homogeneous, electrically conducting Newtonian fluid over a flat plate is investigated numerically. The fluid is permeated by a uniform external magnetic field H0. The effects of the magnetic field on the velocity profiles are presented graphically and discussed. This paper completes the analysis concerning t...
متن کاملRadiation Effects on MHD Stagnation-Point Flow in a Nanofluid
In this study, the two-dimensional Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary layer of stagnation-point flow in a nanofluid in the presence of thermal radiation is investigated. Using a similarity transform, the NavierStokes equations are reduced to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The similarity equations are solved numerically for three types of nanoparticles, namely copper (Cu), a...
متن کاملSurface Reaction Near a Stagnation Point
To measure rate constants while performing biomolecular interaction analysis (BIA), scientists often use resonant mirror devices such as the IAsysTM. A full mathematical model of the IAsysTM consists of a convection–diffusion equation in a closed well with a reacting surface at the bottom. The flow in the well is complex, but near the sensor, the qualitative nature of the reaction can be analyz...
متن کاملStagnation Point Flow and Mass Transfer with Chemical Reaction past a Stretching/Shrinking Cylinder
This paper is about the stagnation point flow and mass transfer with chemical reaction past a stretching/shrinking cylinder. The governing partial differential equations in cylindrical form are transformed into ordinary differential equations by a similarity transformation. The transformed equations are solved numerically using a shooting method. Results for the skin friction coefficient, Schmi...
